Yesterday I had to make a quick stop to the touristy Inner Harbor, to go to a souvineer shop so I could get somebody a magnet for the TTWT magnet swap. ;-)
I usually take the back way in through South Baltimore/Federal Hill. I love that this old advert is still preserved on the side of this rowhouse.

They installed this "Walter Sondheim" memorial interactive fountain very recently. It's meant for you to be able to walk through it and play in it, which is great in a hot and humid Bawlamore summer! I had to wait a minute to get this shot with no one in it.

A bunch of these boat tie-off pylons were painted funky colors and designs. That is also new this summer.

A pretty flaur (orange hibiscus), next to a Harborplace restaurant.

Creepy Mary statue in a window in South Baltimore. It reads "God Bless Our Home" on the bottom.
This was actually more a window in Federal Hill, which is pretty schmancy. One of the things I like about here, is no matter how gentrified a neighborhood gets, there will still be some old skool Bawlamoreans that remain to give it flava. ;-)

what a great idea that interactive water thinggy is!
In India they didn't have billboards but building advertising like the one you've got. I like it much better than ugly old billboards. It had not occurred to me that they existed in other places. I wonder how old it would be.
