Daedalus Books have their warehouse (open to the public), not far from my brother Bill's place. I went to Bill's yesterday morning to bring my neice her b'day gift and to loan them a Rome Guidebook (as they are off on an 11 day Italian vacation yesterday) and to wish them bon voyage.
Thought I'd stop in to the bookstore on my way home. It's a great bookstore for the broke and thrifty- everything is marked down 50-90%, but they do indeed have some nice titles- it's not all junk. |
Dinner was chicken laksa. I added some additional veg (not strictly traditional), to add some color and nuturients, although you can't see them through all of the toppings : sprouts, chili sauce, fresh cilantro/coriander, lime juice, crispy red onion, shredded chicken, slices of tofu puff, and hard cooked egg.
