Yep, the trip was a success! It was nice a cool as soon as we left Florida and that was great. As for the game we went to see - the team I was rooting for [Miami] was getting killed most of the game and somehow managed to come back in the second half and win 28-27. It would have been a very, very long 830 miles back to South Florida had they lost.
As for the shots you see, the weather was not great in Winston-Salem; it was overcast and really everywhere we went, it was less than favorable for photo-taking. I know, lame excuse. Anyway, I never took out my DSLR, instead I ended up with shots from my little P&S. I've edited them as much as I could to take away the depressing looking they had when I uploaded them to my puter.
