Although the significance is observing the countries' Independence, like other holidays, today apparently also represents a culinary delight. Outdoor fun with the family and kids, barbecue's and all others sorts of stuff are pretty much a staple across the land. So I suppose it is fitting that this local merchant would make nice little red, white and blue cupcakes and extra batches of all sorts of goodies.
